Nathan Laube in Recital at Saint-Sulpice, Paris in May 2020
The idea of performing a recital at Saint-Sulpice is the stuff of fairytales – but sometimes they become reality! I am so excited to return to the hallowed organ loft of Saint-Sulpice to perform a full recital on one of the world’s greatest pipe organs: the landmark 1862 Cavaillé-Coll organ. In 2017 I had the honor of recording two works I commissioned from American composer George Baker – his Deux Evocations – which can be seen and heard on my media page (click here). I can’t wait to explore these unique tonal resources in a major program of 19th and 20th century French music alongside some of my own transcriptions.
