Inauguration of Lively-Fulcher Organ at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, D.C.
After over 20 years of anticipation, the 4-manual Lively-Fulcher organ at St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington D.C. has finally been completed! It was an honor to perform the inaugural recital of this amazing instrument on September 20, 2019. The program featured music reflecting the splendid setting and sumptuous acoustic of the Cathedral, in particular Maurice Duruflé’s Préldue, Adagio, et Choral Varié sur le “Veni Creator,” Op. 4. Congratulations to Lively-Fulcher workshop and St. Matthew’s Cathedral for seeing to the completion of a truly impressive organ of our time.
